Chessboardart is art inspired by simplicity and yet complexity of the chessboard.
Each painting will only be painted once. By that chessboardart also stands for uniqueness.

How did you get the idea for Chessboardart?
We were working on another art project when we first got aware of Onethousandpaintings.com by Sala. Being fascinated of art and also the logical chess game the idea of combining these two hit us. Chessboardart is the outcome of this idea and we hope to bring this fascination to people around the globe.
What's the pricing for the pictures?
The basic price which also defines the final price for the last sold paintings is calculated by taking the numbers of the paintings in the order given, multiply this by 10 and then add the multiplied worth of the letters.
For example: D2F7 => The numbers 2 & 7 , The Letters D(4) & F(7)
=> 27 x 10 => 270 + 4 x 7 = 298 US$
Most of the pictures will be sold with a discount.

How long does it take for the shipping?
Shipping might take about 3 - 4 weeks as all paintings are handmade originals on canvas.
How can I be sure that there is only one of the picture I buy?
How can I be sure that the picture I bought is an original?
We guarantee personally that each picture will only be painted once. Furthermore, each canvas got an unique authenticity key on the back (which is different from the name of the picture - which also will be displeyed on the back - and which is created by a specfic, secret algorithm).
For a guarantee of originality and uniqueness simply buy your painting directly on this website.
Can I get a refund if I don't like the painting?
No, as someone else who might have prefered that painting might already have bought another painting instead and the price for that painting could be different in the meantime.
Can I order multiple paintings?
Of course you also can order more than one painting.
For the processing you got to order them seperately on this website.
In case your total shipping cost should be less than what you paid, we will refund the difference after shipping.
Please contact us after you placed multiple orders.
What will my painting look like?
All painting will look similar with the same size for the fields painted in the same color.
The painting only differ by the chess fields that are painted on the canvas.
